Mini Vaca to the Sunshine State
This post has been a looong time in the making and by that I mean that I took this mini vacation 5 whole months ago! These photos were taken at Bok Tower Gardens in Florida! It was absolutely beautiful and absolutely HOT! At the time, I had just moved from Houghton, Michigan, so Florida was far warmer than I was used to.
I think most people would be drawn to the big, beautiful flowers throughout the garden, but I just loved these little cacti! They’ve been my phone background for a couple of months now, they’re just adorable! I would definitely get a look-a-like for a houseplant, except I’m way too clumsy to trust myself with a sharp object sitting around.
You’ll also notice this is where my blog and Facebook page photos came from! I was in desperate need of new pics so I took advantage of the beautiful Florida light! Thanks to Austin for helping me out with the photos!
Wherever I go, I have to fit a few portraits in. :)
He’s always a good sport about being a test subject. :)
