New Year’s Resolutions
Can you believe it’s the last day of 2015? Me either. Can you believe how many times you’re going to hear someone ask this today? ;)
As we begin to shift our focus to the new year, we start to think of how we can be better next year. Sometimes we might not even think that we are enough now, that we just need to improve a few things in our lives and THEN.. then we will be happy.
Friends, I want to tell you that you are enough. In 2016, I want us to stop comparing ourselves to others, to stop beating ourselves up over little things, and to start believing that we ARE enough.
With that said, I want to share my goals for the new year with you! (Please hold me accountable!)
2016 Goals
– 100 blog posts! (Blog 2x a week :)
– More portrait posts! I want to hone in and focus on portraits this year!
– Run 3+ miles consecutively. I’m going to be honest with you, I do NOT like running… like not at all. However, running is something that for whatever reason, is important for me to overcome and maybe even enjoy? We’ll see. :)
– Be grateful. Grateful for my family, friends, cozy home, and all the wonderful things it is filled with.
– Be gracious. By definition, gracious means courteous, kind, and pleasant. It also means (in Christian belief) showing divine grace.

I saw this ornament sitting on a shelf in my house and thought it was fitting for this post – in fact, it kind of inspired the whole thing. :)
Ps. Thanks for giving me this ornament, Rach!
