Trendy Tuesday | Blanket Scarves
This is easily one of my all-time favorite trends to grace the blog. I ADORE blanket scarves.
They are cozy AND cute – which is essentially the mission statement for my wardrobe.
If you haven’t seen these yet, you may live under a rock really need to get yourself to a Target. STAT. I’m not judging though – instead of telling my children how I walked to school uphill both ways, I will tell them how I once lived a hundred miles from a Target (true story). Thanks to the internet, you can get these babies just about anywhere – so keep your eyes peeled for a good deal and pattern you like!
Here are my go-to ways to style these beauties:
Poncho-style: This style gets 5/5 stars on the cozy scale. I wrap it around my shoulders and scrunch it a little near my elbows. So cuddly and warm.
Infinity-style: Wrap ‘er around your neck and tuck the ends in. Not as cozy as a poncho, but it makes up for it in the volume it gives your hair! ;)
Scarf-style: Like a normal scarf (except better because it’s oversized). Just the let the scarf do it’s thing.
I’ve also been known to use my blanket scarves as a blanket. Works great when you’re away from home and need to warm up! :)
